The Position

We are currently looking for a motivated person to join our team as an Android Software Developer.

 

Who you are:

You are

  • A true team-player

  • Living in a time zone that is no more than 3 hours different from Belgium (UTC+1)

 

You have extensive experience with

  • knowledge of Java and Android SDK
  • experience developing Android apps, end-to-end
  • understanding design patterns, modularization, best practices
  • pragmatic mindset, being able to objectively decide on optimal development strategies

 

Other experiences:

- using Firebase and GooglePlay consoles
- using Git, applying Gitflow principles in version management
- integrating REST services over HTTP, content-negotiation, headers
- problem solving skills: debugging, logging, crash reporting
- writing automated tests for UI applications (Robolectric, jUnit)
- AndroidAnnotations

 

Very nice to have:

- knowledge of Kotlin
- experience with earlier versions of Android (starting from Android 5)
