The Band

PlayRight is managed by performers for performers. We defend the interests of 17.000 musicians, actors, dancers, circus and vaudeville artists in Belgium and abroad so they get paid whenever their work is broadcasted.

Your Solo

As we are a small company (20 people), your tasks will vary from one day to the next. However, generally speaking 40% of your time you will be programming, debugging and testing. 30% will be spent with data/BI (adapting dataflows in XML, making reports in SQL,…). The last 30% will be a mix of providing support to your colleagues, automating small tasks, working on new projects,…

The profile we’re looking for is more a generalist than a pure developer, but if you are a developer who wants to have a variety of other challenges, this could be for you.

We are open to a starting IT graduate as well as to someone with another educational background who wants to reorient his career towards IT and has followed development courses for example.

It’ important that you speak Dutch and English or French and English and that you can understand the language you don’t fully master as at the office everyone speaks his/her mother language in the meetings.

In short: if you are a smart young (or not so young candidate) who enjoys programming and doing and learning new things every day in a small team, read on!

Our Instruments

We have chosen the Portuguese low-code platform Outsystems as our platform. Given that Outsystems generates web based applications, it’s best to have knowledge of web development (CSS, .NET, Web services, ASP.NET).

Next to this we work mostly in a Microsoft environment (.NET, SQL, Azure, Windows 7/8/10 and servers, Office 365,…)

Since Outsystem is not widely known yet in Belgium, we will provide training and certification (in English).
